About Me
As a Fifth Generation, Floridian I have a genuine love of and appreciation for DeLand and the lifestyle it offers. When I started Kemp Realty Group it was based on two sentiments: “Live Love DeLand” and “Listening… Connecting… Buyers and Sellers.” I truly understand DeLand’s market and the types of lifestyles offered by different areas across the city, which is why clients joke that I sell just as many properties that aren’t for sale as I do properties that are listed. My resourcefulness, innovation and extensive knowledge of DeLand and the surrounding areas is what enables me to listen to and connect buyers and sellers.
“Live Love DeLand” embodies the understanding that real estate is not just about buying or selling, it’s about an overall lifestyle. Historic homes are a specialty of mine, and our family’s historic 19th century home in downtown DeLand allows me the opportunity to love where I live. I know how important this is for me which is why my proven commitment to meeting the diverse needs of my customers has led to years of repeat clients and proven performance year after year.
I’m also active in the community, having served on both the Board of Trustees for the Museum of Florida Art and as a past President of the Board of Trustees for St. Barnabas Episcopal School. I’m a lifetime member of the West Volusia Historical Society, and contribute to various other events such as the DeLand Historic Tour of Homes. I’ve also achieved Platinum level for the Circle of Excellence for 2012 – 2016.
